This week, I will be in Dallas, Texas, at the Case Management Society of America’s Annual Conference. This year will be especially significant as it marks the 35th Anniversary of the Case Management Society of America, highlighting the critical role case managers play in improving the complex healthcare system every day.
The theme this year is Innovative Solutions/Improved Outcomes. Speakers from every sector of the healthcare system will share information, ideas, challenges, and opportunities for new and seasoned case managers.
The National Conferences are always exciting, as they reinforce the work we do, the differences we make, and the challenges we all face. I am proud to say that I have attended 33 National Conferences presented by the Case Management Society of America.
The Annual Conference is one of the many reasons that I renew my membership each year. Why I stay involved, how I stay connected, and use my voice to promote the Case Management Society of America to everyone who will listen!
Each year, the conference brings together over 2,000 case managers to celebrate our work and continue building the body of knowledge that supports our profession. We also have a huge exhibit hall where I find resources for my patients. Networking and meeting exhibitors helped me expand my network and learn about innovative tools that patients and organizations can utilize.
Attending the conference is part of my professional responsibility to stay current with the latest developments, which enable me to perform my work effectively.
This year, as I have in past years, I will be covering the conference from the venue to bring you highlights, news, and the excitement that comes with the Annual Conference. If you’re going, please find me and say hello. If you’re not going, follow me on Facebook and LinkedIn!
Have a good week!
Enjoy; I know I have in the past.
Thanks for sharing.
