This week marks my eight year anniversary of being a Brain Tumor Survivor. My hematologist/Oncologist told me on my last visit that I am out of the danger zone, so I do not need any more MRIs. He said he will see me in April 2023 which will be my final appointment.
I am very grateful to so many people that were there for me when I was diagnosed and throughout my journey. It was not easy, but with a good support system I made it. I am grateful to all who were there and who still support me.
As I have said in past posts, I am not 100% but that is ok β I am here and able to use my expertise to teach and help others be their own best advocate.
Being a cancer survivor has opened my eyes to the challenges patients face as they navigate the complex healthcare system and the importance of taking care of yourself.
As Thanksgiving approaches take time to think about what you are grateful for and how you give back to others to show your gratitude.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Congratulations Anne!!
