In keeping my goal to keep my post short during the Summer I share this short post with you! I got this idea for this week post from a friend on Facebook. Donna Wilk Cardillo is known as the Inspired Nurse. In the post she shared on Facebook, she shared her favorite quote. It was “They whispered to her, ‘You cannot withstand the storm.’ She whispered back, ‘I am the storm.” The quote reminded me when I was going through treatment for my brain tumor in 2015. I didn’t realize it at the time, but the only way to be free was for the chemo to work – thank God it did. I had to be strong and preserver with things that were hard. As the quote said: I WAS the Storm.
It made me think of what my favorite quote was. I looked though a folder that I keep on my computer with various quotes and came across this one and it resonated with me. So I am sharing it with you today so you can make the DASH Count.
